The Wiedersum philosophical approach is based on the principle of “Total Design Services through a Single Source of Responsibility”. This concept provides an umbrella under which all architectural, engineering, and specialty design-related services are managed and coordinated by one source…the architect.

Through past experience, we have found this methodology provides the most efficient and effective means of communicating between the client and the design team. It is our policy to continually arrange and coordinate working progress meetings, bringing together the key members of the design team and the owner team (administration, staff, and construction manager) to review and discuss potential design solutions, cost concerns and scheduling issues throughout the entire design process, and develop a workable program. These coordination/progress meetings will set the proper course of action to achieve the goals established by the client.

The relationship between the client, their personnel involved in the project, and the architect should be one of confidence, cooperation, and total understanding of a common goal. This allows for a final design solution that meets the programmatic needs of the client, while providing a pleasing and functional environment that meets the funding and scheduling requirement established by the owner.
